things i learn

i feel there is always something to be learned from every session. sometimes it is technical, such as lighting or settings. other times, it is small, simple things. for example...

i learn that there is always a crowd pleaser in every family...betcha can't guess who in this family...

i learn that as a mom of three boys, i get my fix of girls by photographing little beauties like her...

i learn how easy it is to be baby hungry when i hang out with little ones like this...

and i learn how to contain twin boys for family pictures! i love these little guys!

These are all wonderful, but I have to tell you that the one of the little girl laying on her side, picking at the blanket...it pretty much melted my heart. So sweet!

I had to wait till the tears stopped streaming down my face before I was able to pull myself to together.....and let you know...that you captured my daughter in every sense. I can see her soul in the amazing pictures. Cannot wait to see the rest! You're incredible! You have a gift, and I'm so glad I found you!!!

Well said... always a learning process, and the best little teachers to learn with. I love the pics of the Cooks! They're all awesome though.

Ok, so I was totally loving the compostion on the first pic and thinking...what a funny little guy. Then as I scrolled down, I thought those kids are so cute and they look really familiar...I love them. Those pics rock...but I am a little biased, being my sis and her darling family and all.
